(Above) Pit site on Sron a Ghoire today. Lots of deep, weak windslab about and this was as far as was sensible to venture out onto this particular slope. A couple of other winter mountaineers were nearby poking the snow, doing stability tests and adopting safe travel techniques: good call, chaps.
